NATIONAL SHOOTING WEEK

Ever wanted to try your hand at shooting?  Well, now’s your chance.

As part of the government sponsored National Shooting Week scheme we’re holding an open day on Sunday, 4th May.

Our club supports most shooting disciplines so you can experience everything from muzzle loading revolvers to full bore rifle.

The only cost is for the ammunition you use and there’s food and hot drinks available to purchase in our large club house.  If you’d like to come please let us know by registering your details HERE - it doesn’t commit you to anything, but potential visitors need to be pre-registered

OBITUARY
It is with sadness that we acknowledge the death of Charlton Heston (“Chuck”), announced on Sunday 6th April 2008.
Our Club and its members were proud to be associated with him through his interest in shooting and will fondly remember his visit where he opened the (then new) Air Gun Range which bears his name.
His gentleness, humour and the time given for everybody during his time here will be remembered as much as his theatre and film appearances.
Our condolences to his wife Lydia, his extended family and many friends within the shooting world together with his theatre and film fans worldwide who will all miss him.
