LONG RANGE SHOOTING
We now have monthly bookings at the Severnside ranges confirmed for the first six months of 2010.
Details are posted on the club forum, in the members only section.
To use the forum you have to register (it’s easy & free). To access the members only section you need to enter the club security code when asked again for a password, NOT your personal forum password.

PROBATIONARY MEMBERSHIP
All applications to join Worcester Norton Shooting Club involve attendance at a full day Membership Intake Course.
An application to attend can be made by individuals with no target shooting experience as well as those that are FAC Holders (Firearms Certificate Holders).
These Saturday Day Courses are held in May, August, November and January each year. (exact dates to be announced online)
The day comprises of a morning classroom session, then lunch followed by a practical shooting session in the afternoon before a debrief.
Before your course date can be confirmed all applicants are required to attend the Club and complete Police Vetting Forms, provide 4 passport size photos and provide identification - FAC , Photo Driving Licence or passport, utility bill etc and pay a joint course and 3 month provisional membership fee of £75-00 per person (adult).
For those with No Shooting Experience
The Day Course is the start of a mandatory three month Probationary period as required by Police & Home Office regulations.
During this period you will be required to complete a minimum of 5 attendances with one to one supervision whilst shooting. Club guns are provided FREE of charge - you only pay for the ammunition you use.
On completion of this 3 month period you can then apply for FULL CLUB MEMBERSHIP which is currently at an additional Annual Fee of £124 per adult.
Full Membership Year runs from 1st June to 31st May, joining mid year the fees reduce quarterly.
FAC Holders

Full Membership Application must be accompanied by a reference either from a previous Club Secretary or another person who has known you as a Target

FAC Holders may visit the Club as a guest shooting visitor any Sunday by paying a £5 fee. A max of 5 visits is permitted in a 12 month period before an application for membership of WNSC is expected.
